Beaver Stadium came to a standstill as the second half kicked off Saturday afternoon.

Villanova tight end Tyler Will was defending the kick but took a huge hit during the play. Both teams took a knee as Will lied on the ground motionless as the medical team got him on a stretcher.

The Villanova players went over to the cart as Will was placed on the back to show their support. He moved his hands as he was carted off the field, which is a great sign.

Will, a graduate student, has 3 catches for 21 yards this season.

No. 6 Penn State scored on the ensuing drive and now leads Villanova 24-3 in the 3rd quarter on the B1G Network.

Update: Will was taken to a local hospital as a precaution and was alert and moving, according to Elise Menaker of the B1G Network.
