We as human being like to think we know what’s right and what’s wrong.

In general, we do. But, there is no way to convince the entire world to think a certain way.

For example, black quarterbacks doing well in the NFL. Some people think that all black quarterbacks have failed in the history of the league and that you just can’t trust them to make good decisions.

Yes, those thoughts exists. In Texas, an Onalaska ISD superintendent — Lynn Redden — came out and posted this on a Facebook page Monday morning about Houston Texans QB Deshaun Watson:

“That may have been the most inept quarterback decision I’ve seen in the NFL,” Redden said. “When you need precision decision making you can’t count on a black quarterback.”

It’s amazing seeing comments like that being made nowadays, but, that’s the world we live in. Former Penn State — and current Houston Texans coach — Bill O’Brien went off about the comment:

I think it’s safe to say that the majority of us think O’Brien said exactly what he should have said here.

Good for you, Bill.
