James Franklin has already proven himself to be a quality football coach over the last five years at Penn State. But is he a good spokesperson?

Usually the two jobs go hand-in-hand. As a football coach, you’re required to be a spokesperson and the face of a program, a department and a university. But what about endorsing a different product? Say a snack company.

Penn State recently reached an agreement with Utz Snacks, a snack company operated out of Pennsylvania. To announce the agreement, Penn State naturally had Franklin promote the company in a short video.

And it sure is something.

The first part of the video is well-rehearsed and well-read. But in the final four seconds, that’s when Franklin got to show off some of his acting skills.
