In the first regular season game of his NFL career, Saquon Barkley took a handoff 68 yards for his first touchdown with the New York Giants. It was an incredible play and a significant moment for the rookie running back.
Barkley was holding on to the first football he crossed the goal line with as a professional football player. Who wouldn’t want to remember that moment? But the running back had to go through a little rookie hazing that may have cost him his prized possession.
On Instagram, Odell Beckham Jr. posted a video of himself stealing Barkley’s first career touchdown ball, with a big smile on his face while doing it.

It sounds like Barkley caught on to what was occurring at the end. But did he get the ball back?
All rookies have to go through a little hazing during their first year in the NFL. It’s just part of the deal. But hopefully Barkley gets the ball back.
If Beckham doesn’t give it back, it might be really fun to see Barkley chase him down.
