WATCH: Penn State CB Amani Oruwariye explains his love for country music
You can take a Florida boy out of the South, but you can’t take the South out of a Florida boy. Or something like that.
Penn State CB Amani Oruwariye caught the attention of the team’s video crew when he started singing along to Luke Bryan’s “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)” at a recent practice.
He was happy to explain that being from the South helps him appreciate all kinds of music, including country.
The senior out of Tampa, Fla. is entering his fifth season on campus at Penn State. He originally committed to the Nittany Lions in the class of 2014.
He mentions Happy Valley being a cultural adjustment for him in the humorous clip below:
