Watch: Penn State coach James Franklin discusses icing Georgia State's kicker on BTN

Penn State coach James Franklin has been receiving some heat lately due to him icing Georgia State’s kicker when the Nittany Lions were up 56-0.

Since Franklin has been receiving heat for his decision, he went onto BTN to defend what is now known as “Freezegate”.

Penn State will travel to Iowa City this Saturday to take on the Iowa Hawkeyes. The game will air at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
