Now that teams have a better understanding of where they stand in terms of the scholarship limit, more and more walk-ons are going to start getting full rides.

Those are the sorts of emotional videos that never get old, and on Tuesday, it was Penn State coach James Franklin’s turn to share some good news.

As you can see in the video below, Franklin asks long snapper Kyle Vasey about the part-time job he works 25-30 hours a week. Then, Franklin tells him to quit the job, because he’s on full scholarship this fall:

An emotional Vasey then gets mobbed by his teammates before singling out his coaches for hugs. It’s always great to see some of the hardest-working players on the team get rewarded.

Here’s hoping Vasey gets a lot more sleep this fall now that he doesn’t have to worry about his part-time job.
