Despite the shocking 21-17 loss, Penn State running back Miles Sanders ran all over Michigan State on Saturday evening, finishing with 17 carries for 162 yards (9.5 ypc) and a touchdown.
It was the third 100-yard rushing performance of the season for the junior, who now boasts 700 yards and seven touchdowns in his first year as the starter.

Barkley, who was drafted No. 2 overall by the New York Giants in April’s NFL draft, says drop the comparison — Sanders is his own kind of beast.

With the huge day, Sanders has surpassed the 1,000-yard mark for his career, entering Week 8 with 1,075 yards and 10 touchdowns to his name in three years as a Nittany Lion.
Penn State (4-2, 1-2 Big Ten) will hope to rebound next week at Indiana (4-3, 1-3).
