Maybe he’s not quite as versatile as Saquon Barkley, but Tommy Stevens is proving he can do pretty much anything.

The Penn State backup quarterback had three touchdowns this season: one passing, one rushing and one receiving. He added another tally to his total on Saturday against Northwestern, hauling in his second touchdown pass of the year.

Yes, the backup quarterback has caught more touchdown passes than he has thrown.

Incredible.

This 10-yard score gave the Nittany Lions a 10-0 lead early in the second quarter against the Wildcats.

James Franklin isn’t afraid to put talent on the field, regardless of position. Obviously he has the same philosophy even for a quarterback.

That probably won’t be the last TD pass Stevens hauls in before this season is over.
