Saquon Barkley is leaving his mark in Columbus.

The Penn State running back returned the opening kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown to start things off, giving the Nittany Lions an early 7-0 lead over Ohio State. A few possessions later, Barkley was at it again, this time as a running back.

With Penn State leading 14-3 in the second quarter, Barkley took a handoff, broke a tackles and jaunted past the Buckeyes defense to the end zone for his second touchdown of the afternoon. The score gave the Lions a 21-3 lead midway through the second quarter.

Penn State hasn’t been fazed by the hostile environment in Columbus or by the Buckeyes and their No. 6 ranking.

Early in the game, the Nittany Lions have looked like one of the best teams in the country and Barkley has absolutely played like a Heisman Trophy winner.
