NFL preseason football is under way.

Sure, many of the stars around the league aren’t playing for too long. However, a lot of rookies finally get their chance to shine in a game-type of atmosphere. Teams are looking to see who can truly play at the next level once it matters most.

On Thursday night, Baltimore Ravens QB — and former Nittany Lion — Trace McSorley got his chance. On one throw in particular, he did.

Unfortunately the TD got called back, but, it was gorgeous nonetheless:

McSorley threw a perfect ball here. Whether that came from Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees, it wouldn’t have mattered. The throw and catch resulting in a TD was a perfect play.

McSorley finished the night by going 9-of-22 for 85 yards and an interception. The stat-line would have looked a bit better if not for the penalty.
