What Brent Pry said in his introductory press conference at Virginia Tech
A new era of Virginia Tech football is underway.
On Thursday morning, Brent Pry was introduced as the next head coach at Virginia Tech after serving as the defensive coordinator at Penn State for the past 8 seasons. He had been on James Franklin’s staff since 2011, when the two were at Vanderbilt.
Pry has previous ties to the Hokies, serving as a graduate assistant from 1995-97. Working at Penn State the past 8 years, he also has a pretty strong understanding of the recruiting footprint, as well.
Pry took the podium to talk about the opportunity at Virginia Tech, his relationship with James Franklin and reflected on his time with the Nittany Lions. Here’s what the first-time head coach had to say.
