Has anyone seen a drive like the one found in Happy Valley? Spoiler alert: likely not.

Penn State took a 21-16 lead over Ohio State with just over 9 minutes remaining in the game. No one really is paying attention to the score since the drive is a story in itself.

Penn State missed a chip shot field goal on 4th-and-1, but a false start by Juice Scruggs gave the Nittany Lions a second chance. A 2nd missed field goal was negated after Ohio State was called for an illegal formation.

Staying with us? Good.

James Franklin elected to go for it of 4th down the 3rd time around. Sean Clifford connected with Tyler Warren for a gain of 4 to move the sticks and pick up a fresh set of down. Clifford found Mitchell Tinsley for a 7-yard gain, but the ball was fumbled at the goal line, and chaos ensued.

Somehow, the Nittany Lions recovered at the 1-foot (yes, foot) line to make it 3rd-and-goal. Clifford would be stuffed at the line of scrimmage, but running back Kaytron Allen would punch it in on 4th-and-goal on what could only be considered the most impressive run of the day.

B1G football in a nutshell? Basically.
