Wipe out! Christian Veilleux takes postgame tunnel spill after win vs. Rutgers
Christian Veilleux saw action for Penn State vs. Rutgers and he performed admirably in relief of Sean Clifford.
Clifford started the game but was eventually relieved by Veilleux toward the end of the first quarter. After coming on, Veilleux was able to lead Penn State to a late touchdown heading into halftime.
Coming out of the break, Veilleux was able to lead the offense to 2 third-quarter touchdowns with scoring passes to Parker Washington and Malick Meiga. For the game, Veilleux finished 15-for-24 passing with 235 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also added 36 yards on the ground.
Following the game, an excited Veilleux headed for the player tunnel after celebrating on the field. That’s when his feet went sliding as he went down in a heap.
Thankfully, he appears to be fine in case he is needed in Week 13 with just a small hit to his ego as a result.
