Haynes originally committed to Penn State back in June, before opening up his recruitment on Monday. He said that one thing that really changed his mind was his official visit to Georgia on June 24 per Dawg Post.
“One thing that stood out to me was the coaching staff,” said Haynes. “It’s always a warm family feeling when I’m talking to the coaches. I also love the location of the school. One it’s (somewhere where) its typically warm and also it is close to Atlanta. Which is good for when football is done because it presents me many business opportunities. … I knew I wanted to be a Bulldog a little after my official visit. After keeping in contact with the coaches, I thought long and hard about my encounters with the coaches and the support they gave me, and eventually felt like Georgia was the place for me.”
