In just his third career NFL game, Yetur Gross-Matos had a strong showing while going up against Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals.
The Penn State product was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the second round of this year’s NFL Draft, and he is working quickly to make a name for himself. In Sunday’s game, he recorded three tackles, but it was his first career sack that earned the highlight.
Gross-Matos beat the offensive tackle hard around the edge and was able to just make contact with the ball as Murray was gearing up to throw. The ball squirted out and was recovered by the Panthers to halt a drive by the Cardinals.
Hopefully, this is the first of many to come for Gross-Matos:
And the Yetur Gross-Matos coming out party continues!
