Aidan O'Connell continues to turn in strong preseason numbers with Las Vegas Raiders
Aidan O’Connell has been making some impressive throws for the Las Vegas Raiders this preseason. The former Purdue signal caller entered this preseason as the Raiders’ QB3, but has made moves to potentially surpass Brian Hoyer as the 2nd-string behind Jimmy Garoppolo.
Through his first 2 preseason games O’Connell has totaled 304 yards passing with a 72% completion percentage, 3 touchdowns and zero interceptions.
And it’s not just dink and dunk passes, either. O’Connell has been tasked with throwing the ball deep and is showing a strong knack for Josh McDaniels’ offense in LV.
