Another one: Purdue loses veteran WR to transfer portal
For the fourth time this offseason, a Purdue player is entering the transfer portal. Purdue wide receiver Jared Sparks as a grad transfer, according to Rivals reporter Tom Dienhart.

Sparks finished with four receptions for 38 yards this season. In total, Sparks amassed 59 receptions, 642 yards, and a touchdown in his four seasons at Purdue.
The Geismar, La. native earned first team all-district during his senior season in high school.
Wide receiver Amad Anderson, Jr., cornerback Geovonte Howard and fullback Alfred Armour were the first three Purdue players to enter the transfer portal this offseason.
Purdue posted a 2-4 record and ended the 2020 season with four consecutive losses. Purdue’s two victories came against Iowa and Illinois in the first two weeks of the season. Purdue had games against Wisconsin and Indiana cancelled because of COVID-19 concerns.
