Boiler Up! Purdue football gets commitment from 2023 QB out of New York
Purdue added to its class of 2023 on Friday. Ryan Browne announced that he’ll be taking his talents to West Lafayette from his Twitter account.
Browne is a 3-star QB, according to 247Sports. He had offers from Holy Cross, Kent State, Rhode Island, and Toledo. Wisconsin also showed interest in him but didn’t give him an offer. Browne is the No. 11 QB from New York in the 2023 class.
The young QB prospect comes in at 6-foot-5, 207 pounds out of New Berlin, New York.

Purdue now has 19 total commits from the 2023 class. However, Browne is the first QB to chose the Boilermakers. Purdue now has the No. 7 ranked 2023 recruiting class among B1G schools now with Browne’s commitment, according to 247Sports.
Purdue has recovered from a slow start to the year and is currently sitting at 3-2 and is tied for the division lead. Purdue’s upset of Minnesota in Week 5 shook up the race for the B1G West title.
Purdue faces Maryland in Week 6.
