For the fifth time this week, Purdue has received a commitment from a member of the 2020 recruiting class.

Jeff Brohm’s busy week on the recruiting trail continued this week, as the Boilermakers landed a commitment from three-star wide receiver Collin Sullivan, a heavily-recruited player out of Texas. He’s the fifth player in six days to commit to the program, and the eighth player to pledge this cycle.

Sullivan made his announcement on Thursday via Twitter.

“While going through this process it has taken lots of serious thought and prayer with my family,” Sullivan said in a statement. “What I’ve learned in my life is that God has a certain for us all and I feel as if mine is to commit to Purdue University!”

Sullivan had over a dozen offers and chose Purdue over Arkansas, Baylor, Colorado, Houston, Oregon, Northwestern and Rutgers, among others.

At 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, Sullivan was ranked as one of the 90-best receivers in the 2020 recruiting class and was listed as the No. 67 player out of Texas — a talent-rich state on the recruiting front. Overall, Sullivan is ranked inside the top 500 players.

Purdue’s slew of recent commits has bumped up the program quite nicely in the recruiting rankings. In a week, the Boilermakers have jumped from the last-placed in the B1G to ninth in the conference and 48th nationally.
