Bombs away! Aidan O’Connell connects with Milton Wright for Purdue’s first TD vs. Northwestern

Purdue and Northwestern are playing at historical Wrigley Field this afternoon. It’s only the 2nd college football game ever to be played at Wrigley Field.

Purdue is up 13-7 at the half on Northwestern. It was a defensive half from both teams as Purdue kicked 2 FGs to be up 6-0. There was missed FG from Purdue and a blocked FG by Purdue as well in the first half.

Then with less than 2 mins left before the half QB, Aidan O’Connell hit WR Milton Wright III for a 53-yard touchdown reception to go up 13-0.

Northwestern would go down the field in the final 2 mins and score a touchdown of its own right at the buzzer.
