Purdue has had a couple good season so far with Jeff Brohm leading the way.

Brohm, in his second year with the Boilermakers, has the team at 5-5 overall and 4-3 in the Big Ten. Purdue is one win away from becoming bowl eligible and played spoiler a few weeks ago, when the team throttled then-ranked No. 2 Ohio State.

In his first season, Brohm led the team to a 7-6 record and a bowl win. Prior to his time at Purdue, he coached Western Kentucky to a 30-10 record and had a 12-2 season in 2015. Brohm has had success.

He also has ties to Louisville. He played at Louisville when in college and then was an assistant from 2003-08.

Louisville currently has a head coach opening after Bobby Petrino was fired.

You see where this is going.

Louisville has had national spotlight recently whereas Purdue has not. Could Louisville be the better job? That’s what people are wondering when rumors of Brohm going back to Louisville as a head coach surface.

Brett McMurphy, a College Football Insider, talked about the possibilities:

For now, Brohm is in control of Purdue. He has said in the past that he loves the Boilermakers.

But is that enough?
