Brian Brohm is expected to be the interim head coach for Purdue following the departure of Jeff Brohm to Louisville. Brohm is Jeff’s brother.

Brohm has been the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach since 2017. He played college football at Louisville and was drafted by the Green Bay Packers before playing for the Buffalo Bills and finally ending up in the CFL.

Now, it seems Brohm will be Purdue’s head coach for the Citrus Bowl against LSU in just a few weeks.

The Boilermakers have had yet another strong season, falling to Michigan in the B1G Championship game but finishing the year with a strong bowl and an 8-4 regular season record.

Purdue released this update following Jeff Brohm’s departure Thursday afternoon.
