BTN Analyst Dave Revsine highlights Purdue passing game during bus tour
Dave Revsine made sure to stop by Purdue’s practice on Friday as a part of his B1G fall camp tour. He especially liked watching Aidan O’Connell connect with TE Payne Durham in the passing game.
Revsine posted a short clip of O’Connell finding Durham in a passing drill from his Twitter account. The Boilermakers’ QB is heading into the 2022 season with a really good streak. Since last season O’Connell has 5 straight games with 3 or more touchdown passes, which is the 2nd longest B1G streak this century.
Here’s what Revisine had to say about his visit:
“Pass game was dialed in today as it was all last year,” said Revsine. “The newly married Aidan O’Connell connecting with one of the league’s better TE’s in Payne Durham.”

O’Connell’s 2021 campaign was a breakout year for him. He had 3,712 yards passing with a career-high 28 touchdowns. If he can produce numbers like that again, Purdue should be very dangerous though the air.
