BTN Analyst Dave Revsine shares pick for B1G West favorite, previews Week 1 matchup
The Purdue offense is primed to make some more noise in 2022 with Aidan O’Connell returning at quarterback. Big Ten Network’s Dave Revsine thinks so too.
Revsine visited Purdue for his offseason bus tour where he has been going to all the B1G schools and observing practices at fall camp. Purdue finished the 2021 season with 9-4 record that got them to 3rd place in the B1G West. Revsine believes that the Boilermakers have just as good of a chance as any to win the division this time around.
“Overall, really liked Purdue,” said Revsine. “No reason this team can’t win the West particularly given that they don’t play OSU or Michigan. First game against Penn State will be huge. Feels like a fairly even matchup based on what we saw in camp.”

That 1st game against Penn State could define how the rest of the season goes for Purdue. Penn State has won 9 straight against Purdue, and it won’t be an easy task for either side.
We’ll see who gets the better of each other on Sept. 1 at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
