It sounds Purdue’s offense is in good hands despite the departure of David Blough.

The Boilermakers averaged 30.5 points per game in 2018 with Blough taking control of the quarterback position. He threw for 3,705 yards and 25 TDs, but he is now looking to make a roster in the NFL.

The good news is Elijah Sindelar is taking over under center, and he has plenty of talent around him on the offensive side of the ball. When discussing the BTN Bus Tour stop at Purdue, Howard Griffith pointed out that he believes the Boilermakers will be able to score plenty of points this season:

“It looks like Purdue is going to be able to score a lot of points,” said Griffith. He went on to point out that Purdue has plenty of impressive athletes in addition to Rondale Moore, including a young crop of receivers.

Unfortunately, Gerry DiNardo admitted he has concerns about Purdue up front. He pointed out that the line of scrimmage simply hasn’t developed to this point, but DiNardo liked the intensity he saw during practice:

“I’d say the two most intense practices for me were Purdue and Ohio State,” explained DiNardo.

Hopefully the intensity, offensive talent, and work put in yield another positive season under head coach Jeff Brohm.
