Cam Allen says farewell to Purdue after 5 seasons with Boilermakers
Cam Allen is moving on from Purdue football as he prepares for the 2024 NFL Draft.
Allen finished 2nd on the team with 3 interceptions. The defensive back accounted for 203 total tackles, 8 tackles for loss, 13 interceptions, and 4 fumble recoveries since 2019 for the Boilermakers.
Here’s what Allen had to say about the decision:
“First I want to thank God for giving me the ability and opportunity to play at Purdue University these past five years. I will forever hold those memories in my heart! This journey has been a testament to hard work and passion for the game,” said Allen. “I’m truly thanful for everyone who has shaped me into the man I am today! To Boiler Nation, you guys are second to none and it will always be that way! #10 will forever be in the record book. Here’s to the next chapter — a realization of a lifelong dream! 2024 NFL Draft bound!”

The Boilermakers have plenty of recruits verbally committed in the secondary in the 2024 class. Ryan Walters has 4-star commits Koy Beasley and Luke Williams on the way. Purdue also has 3-star commits D’Mon Marble, Earl Kulp, Hudauri Hines, Ty Hudkins, and Leontre Bradford as verbal pledges.
Ryan Walters’ 1st season with Purdue ended with a 4-8 finish for the former Illinois assistant.
