Charlie Jones has been on a torrid pace for Purdue this season, and he’s not slowing down yet. He’s had another hot first half against Nebraska, finding the end zone in the second quarter for his latest score.

With the Huskers tying the game up at 10-all, Jones and the offense found a way to respond. And on a play from the 31-yard line, Jones was mostly untouched.

Jones ran a quick in route against the defense, and Aidan O’Connell found him before the coverage could close in. Jones left one defender grasping for his shoe tops behind him and rolled the rest of the way for the score.

Jones’ score gave Purdue the 17-10 lead over the Huskers. Since then, Purdue has rolled to take a 27-10 lead with halftime closing in.
