Charlie Jones didn’t take long to make an impact on the Iowa game. Jones’ return to Iowa is looking like it’s going to be a special one.

Purdue found itself on its own four yard line in the first quarter. Jones caught a 41-yard strike from QB Aidan O’Connell that helped the Boilermakers get out of the shadow of their end zone.

This is Jones’ first game back at Iowa since transferring to Purdue. Jones left Iowa shortly after spring camp commenced.

Jones already has over 40 yards receiving and could add more to it before the game is over. He has five games with over 100 yards receiving in 2021, which is impressive since the team has only played eight games.

We’ll keep you posted with more updates for the game.
