Charlie Jones has been fantastic for Purdue all season long. During the B1G Championship Game against Michigan, Jones has etched his name into the record books of the Boilermakers.

With the game in Indianapolis reaching the late moments of the fourth quarter, Jones has 12 catches for 144 yards. Those numbers lead all players in action.

Jones also landed Purdue’s single-season record for receiving yards after going over 1,309 for the season. That snaps the previous record set of 1,307 set by John Standeford in 2002.

Jones is now 1 of 5 Boilermakers all-time to have more than 1,200 receiving yards in a season. David Bell was the most recent player to do so with 1,286 last season.

Jones also went over 100 receptions on the season and is the 3rd Purdue receiver to hit that mark. Rondale Moore was the most recent Boilermaker to hit that number during the 2018 season.
