Charlie Jones is coming up big for the Purdue Boilermakers in the B1G Championship.

With the 1st quarter winding down, Jones is the leading receiver in the game thus far with 6 catches for 73 yards. 3 of those catches came on a single drive that led to the 1st points of the game for the Boilermakers.

The Boilermakers drove down the field and capped off the drive with a 1-yard rushing TD by Devin Mockobee. Initially, Mockobee was ruled short, but upon review, the call was overturned. The TD was Mockobee’s 9th of the season.

Thus far, the Purdue offense has been more productive than the Michigan offense. JJ McCarthy has just 50 yards passing through the 1st quarter.

Purdue will have to translate the yards advantage into points if they have hope of pulling off an upset in Indianapolis.
