Trice has been an integral part of the Purdue defense, and one of the reasons the Boilermakers took home the B1G West title during the 2022 season. Over the season, Trice amassed 34 total tackles and 28 solo tackles. The elite CB also had an astounding 10 pass breakups, a team-high.
Trice also had several game-high defensive records this season, including 8 solo tackles against Indiana in November and an interception in the same matchup. It was an impressive comeback by the CB, whose season ended after 2 games in 2021 due to an injury.
Trice opted out of Purdue’s matchup against No. 16 LSU in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl after declaring for the NFL Draft back in December. He will join fellow Boilermakers Payne Durham and Charlie Jones at the combine.
