David Bell is at it again, terrorizing No. 3 Michigan State in West Lafayette. With the 4th quarter starting to wind down, Bell has turned in an improbable performance with the Boilermakers in a position to pull off the upset.

Bell has produced an 11-catch outing for 217 yards and a touchdown against the Spartans. It is his 5th 100-yard game of the season. And even more remarkably, it is Bell’s 2nd 200-yard performance against a top-5 team.

For his career, Saturday’s performance gives Bell 15 100-yard games at Purdue. That gives him the school’s all-time record for 100-yard performances.

Bell has more game sin his career with 100 yards receiving than he does falling short of 100 yards:

Purdue has taken a 37-21 lead over the Spartans as the Boilermakers look for another upset as a giant slayer.
