The Boilermakers are fighting hard and not going away on the road against Notre Dame!

Squaring off with the No. 12 Fighting Irish, Purdue is making it a game and keeping things interesting in South Bend. The Boilermakers were down 17-6 on this drive but cut into the lead with a nice drive in the third quarter.

The drive went for 75 yards with the big play of the drive coming on a 32-yard catch by David Bell. Bell was stumbling and going to the ground on the play but managed to get his body turned around and hauled the pass in while falling to the ground.

The touchdown came on a nice throw-and-catch from Jack Plummer to Milton Wright. The score only went for 2 yards, but it was a nice tip-toe grab by Wright in the corner of the end zone.
