News flash: David Bell likes playing Iowa.

Want proof? Check out the numbers.

In 3 career games against Iowa, Bell has totaled 558 yards and 5 touchdowns on 37 catches against the Hawkeyes. His most impressive performance came on Saturday when he tallied 240 yards and a touchdown on 11 catches as Purdue stunned the No. 2-ranked Hawkeyes 24-7.

Bell is having a great season for the Boilermakers despite missing a game with a concussion. He entered Week 7 ranked 9th in the B1G with 439 total yards, but led the league with 109.8 yards per game. Those numbers are now 679 total yards and 135.8 yards per game after the Iowa matchup.

He’s a big reason why Purdue is now 4-2 on the season. With 6 games left on the schedule, Bell and the Boilermakers can make some more noise in the B1G.

They’ve already shaken up the B1G, after all.
