David Bell is going to be remembered as one of the best wide receivers ever to put on a Purdue uniform. Over the last 3 seasons, he was one of the most unstoppable players in the B1G.

Bell has put up some big numbers during his career with the Boilermakers, but a recent breakdown from Pro Football Focus shows just how dominant the receiver was over his 3 years.

Since 2019, Bell totaled 232 receptions (most in Power 5), 2,935 yards (second-most in Power 5) and 142 catches for a 1st down (most in Power 5). That’s pretty difficult to stop.

Bell was named the B1G Receiver of the Year following the 2021 season. He ended the year as the conference’s leader in receptions (93), receiving yards (1,286) and yards per game (116.9).

Bell hit over 10 receiving yards 7 times in 11 games for the Boilermakers. He eclipsed the 200-yard milestone in wins over Iowa (240) and Michigan State (217). The junior also totaled 6 touchdown catches.

After an outstanding career in West Lafayette, Bell declared for the 2022 NFL Draft, where he’s expected to be a high selection. He will not participate in Purdue’s Music Bowl game against Tennessee, set for Dec. 30.
