Purdue quarterback David Blough has etched his name in the B1G record books.

During Saturday night’s game against Missouri, Blough totaled 588 yards of total offense for the Boilermakers, setting a new conference record for a single-game performance.

Unfortunately, the effort was not enough to get Purdue the victory, as it fell to Missouri 40-37.

Blough completed 39-of-55 passes for 572 yards and three touchdowns against the Tigers and rushed for an additional 16 yards in the contest.

The 572 passing yards is a new career high for Blough. His previous career high was set in 2016, when he threw for 458 yards and five touchdowns against Iowa.

Blough has split time with Elijah Sindelar this season, and Saturday was the first time the senior has started this season. Entering the game against Missouri, Blough had completed 18-of-26 passes for 122 yards.
