Drew Brees gives emphatic pre-game speech to Purdue ahead of Nebraska game
Drew Brees may not be the GOAT. But, man, is he one of the best to ever do it.
Before shattering records and putting together unthinkable statistics and success in the NFL, Brees was leading the Purdue Boilermakers. He played there from 1997-2000 and was third in Heisman Trophy voting in 2000 and fourth in 1999.
He was that good.
For Week 9 of the NFL season, Brees’ New Orleans Saints have a bye. So, what is he doing on this fine Saturday afternoon? Visiting Purdue.
The Boilermakers host Nebraska this afternoon and ahead of the game, Brees gave the entire Boilermakers team a pre-game speech to remember:
