Drew Brees continues to give back to Purdue University.

According to the Journal & Courier, the former Boilermaker and the NFL’s all-time passing leader has a funding plan in place to raise money to start the Joe Tiller Scholarship Endowment through the Tiller Chapter of the National Football Foundation. Brees hopes to raise money through an auction.

The auction will include sideline passes and tickets to the New Orleans Saints’ game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Nov. 11. The game will be in Cincinnati. Field passes will only be for pre-game warmups and seats will be located in the Saints’ cheering sections. Bids start at $1,000 per person.

Brees was at Purdue from 1997-2000, leading the Boilermakers to a B1G title and a Rose Bowl bid in his final season. His success in West Lafayette helped establish Tiller as one of the best coaches in the B1G during that time.

Tiller was the head coach at Purdue from 1997-2008, compiling a 126-92-1 record in those 12 seasons. He led the Boilermakers to 10 bowl games in the stretch.

Tiller died on Sept. 30, 2017.

Brees recently became the NFL’s all-time leading passer, passing Peyton Manning.
