Drew Brees to donate millions to Louisiana to aid during coronavirus pandemic
Drew Brees is reaching deep into his pockets to help the state of Louisiana during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Thursday morning, Brees released a post on Instagram and Twitter, saying that he and his wife Brittany will be donating $5 million to the state of Louisiana. The goal is to help deliver meals to families in need across the state in order to help during the ongoing public health crisis.
Brees said that he will be working with Second Harvest Food Bank, Ochsner Health Systems, Walk-Ons, Jimmy Johns, Small Sliders and Waitr to prepare and deliver over 10,000 meals per day throughout the state.

It’s an incredible gesture from the New Orleans Saints quarterback and his wife. Brees has always supported the New Orleans community, and his latest efforts might be his most important.
We can all applaud Brees in his recent work to help his community and the state of Louisiana.
