Eric Hunter Jr. was responsible for the beautiful pass and Aaron Wheeler knew exactly what to do with it.

Late in the 1st half of Thursday afternoon’s B1G clash between Purdue and Minnesota, Hunter and Wheeler were able to get into a fast-break situation after a Gophers miss and made them pay in impressive fashion.

Bolting down the floor, Hunter went end to end before delivering the perfect pass to Wheeler, who threw it down for a monstrous dunk over a Minnesota defender. That alley-oop was part of a 10-run by the Boilermakers.

That’ll get your attention.

Hunter finished the first half with 4 points, 2 assists and 2 rebounds while Wheeler had 2 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist in the opening 20 minutes. Purdue took a 32-30 lead into the locker room.

Boilers big man Trevion Williams was the star of the 1st half, scoring 15 points and grabbing 5 rebounds.
