One former Boilermaker is headed south for his transfer destination.

The player is Giovanni Reviere, a defensive lineman who played his high school football at McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Now, Reviere is headed home to play for Chattanooga collegiately.

Chattanooga Football made the announcement on Wednesday:

Reviere appeared in 20 games at Purdue between 2018-19 after redshirting in 2017. He finishes his time as a Boilermaker with 30 total tackles, five for loss, and three sacks. However, Reviere recorded just two tackles and did not register a sack in 2019.

Best of luck to Reviere as he continues his college career in his hometown. Hopefully, he is able to bounce back to the potential he flashed in 2018.
