Former Purdue QB Michael Alaimo announces transfer to MAC team
Former Purdue QB Michael Alaimo has found a home in the MAC.
Alaimo took to social media on Monday to announce his commitment to Kent State.

As a graduate transfer, Alaimo was not subjected to the NCAA’s transfer portal windows. He entered the portal in January after playing in Purdue’s Citrus Bowl game.

Out of St. Joseph Regional in New Jersey, Alaimo was a 4-star recruit in the 2020 recruiting class. Alaimo picked up 17 scholarship offers, visiting Purdue and Michigan State.
Alaimo’s Purdue career began in 2020. He did not play and the season did not count against his college eligibility due to COVID-19.
Over the past 2 seasons, Alaimo played in 4 games. He went 9-of-18 passing for 74 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception. Alaimo also logged 8 rushes for 25 yards.
