Former Purdue safety, 4-star recruit reveals his transfer destination
Marvin Grant Jr. entered the transfer portal on May 1, and has decided where he’ll be continuing his college career. The former Boilermaker safety is leaving Purdue for Kansas.
Grant appeared in 19 games for the Boilermakers from 2019-2021. He racked up 84 total tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 3 pass deflections, and 2 forced fumbles during his time in West Lafayette. Grant was a 4-star recruit out of Martin Luther King High School in Detroit, Michigan per the 247Sports Composite.
He made a post on Twitter about where he’s going to be playing next on Thursday.

Grant is now the 3rd DB that has transferred from Purdue since January. It looks like he’ll be trading West Lafayette for Lawrence, Kansas beginning in the fall of 2022. Grant will have 3 years of eligibility left.
