Former Western Kentucky OL Dennis Edwards following coach Jeff Brohm to Purdue
Jeff Brohm’s first year as Purdue’s head coach went well, as the former Western Kentucky coach led the Boilermakers all the way to their first bowl game since 2012.
With momentum building heading into 2018, Brohm is being joined by a former Hilltopper in West Lafayette.
As you can see in the tweet below, OL Dennis Edwards announced on Monday that he would follow his former coach to Purdue to finish up his collegiate playing career:
Shutting it down. I’d like to thank everyone who’s reached out to me. But I’ve decided to end this thing with who I started it with. After much thought and prayer I’ll be re-joining the Brohmsquad! 🚂 #BoilerUp

Edwards may end up being the backup center during the 2018 season, but he’ll be eligible to play immediately as a graduate transfer, so he can immediately provide crucial depth.
Clearly, Brohm had an impact on Edwards, and it will be great to see them reunited for one final season.
