Grand slam performance: Milton Wright's triple TD day steals show inside Wrigley Field
In a year of huge wide receiver performances in the B1G, Purdue’s Milton Wright made sure to write his own chapter inside Wrigley Field.
With the Boilermakers facing Northwestern inside the friendly confines for Week 12, it was a big touchdown to Wright that gave Purdue a 13-0 lead in the first half. That lead was trimmed to 13-7 at the break, but it was more of Aidan O’Connell to Wright that drove the second half.
In the third quarter, O’Connell and Wright produced a pair of scores to give Purdue enough cushion heading into the fourth. For the game, Wright finished with 8 catches for 213 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Sorry if this is sacrilegious, but @MW_Agent0 owned this ballpark for @BoilerFootball today.

Wright joins David Bell as Purdue receivers to log a 200-yard receiving performance this season. Bell has 2 such instances. Other B1G stars to record 200-yard games this season include Penn State’s Jahan Dotson and Ohio State’s Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
