Here's what Jeff Brohm had to say inside Purdue's locker room after incredible upset of Iowa
Jeff Brohm sure is a happy guy.
His Purdue team went into Kinnick Stadium and knocked off No. 2 Iowa 24-7 Saturday afternoon, handing the Hawkeyes their first loss of the season. After the game, he gave a nice speech in the locker room to his players and talked about how they “believed.”

The story of the game was Purdue wide receiver David Bell, who turned in a career performance to propel the Boilermakers to victory. He caught 11 passes for 240 yards, which ranks 2nd in Purdue history for receiving yards in a single game. He also caught a touchdown in the 4th quarter.
Quarterback Aidan O’Connell played well under center, throwing for 375 yards on 30-of-40 passing and 2 touchdowns. Brohm wouldn’t declare O’Connell or Jack Plummer as the “starter,” but O’Connell appears to have played his way into a larger role in the Boilermakers offense.
He chose a good day to have a good day, that’s for sure.
