Here’s what Jeff Brohm said as Purdue’s losing streak hit four games with the loss to Nebraska

Saturday was not a great day for Jeff Brohm or the Boilermakers.
The miscues and mistakes started almost immediately for Purdue. The offense had nothing going on the first drive of the game and had the first punt of the day blocked back to the one-yard line. It set up Nebraska’s first touchdown of the game and set the tone for a dark day in West Lafayette.
Purdue did rally in the second half, cutting Nebraska’s lead to seven points, but ultimately could not get any closer in the 10-point defeat. Jack Plummer threw for 334 yards in the game but the rushing attack is once again a point of concern, finishing with -2 yards on the ground for the game.
With the loss, the Boilermakers have now dropped four straight. Unfortunately, the team appears to have regressed. After some tough and controversial losses that started the stretch, Purdue blew a lead against Rutgers and then just never kept up with Nebraska.
Here is what Brohm said after the latest frustrating result:
Jeff Brohm confirmed after the game that Tirek Murphy, Da'Joun Hewitt, Alfred Armour, DJ Johnson and Amad Anderson have opted out.

Third-string true freshman walk-on Brendan Cropsey won a punting competition in practice this week. That's why he executed the first punt of the game. It was blocked.
"I believe it was one guy not getting their block that caused the punt to be blocked," said Jeff Brohm.
