Highlights from Purdue's spring game on Saturday
Purdue was back on the field at Ross-Ade Stadium on Saturday, closing out the 2022 spring season.
The Boilermakers held their annual spring game, pitting the offense against the defense in a scrimmage. Even though it was a glorified exhibition, the day ended with some drama.
Purdue’s defense defeated the offense 45-42, forcing a turnover late in the fourth quarter to register the win. The defense dominated the entire first half before the offense found some life in the final two quarters.
We saw plenty of standout performances, trick plays and some newcomers make some big plays on Saturday. Here are some of the highlights from the cold afternoon in West Lafayette:

Purdue finished the 2021 season with a 9-4 record. There’s a lot of hype and excitement surrounding the Boilermakers heading into next fall.
The Boilers will open the 2021 season at Ross-Ade Stadium against Penn State in Week 1.
