Trevion Williams is no longer the star from Purdue’s win at Indiana on Thursday night. Now it goes to whoever on the Boilermakers staff came up with this gem of a tweet.

(Williams, by the way, had 22 points and 10 rebounds with two assists in Purdue’s emphatic 81-69 win at Indiana and was the actual star of the game).

For background…Purdue has now won five straight games at Assembly Hall, a point that the program’s digital staff couldn’t just wait to troll Indiana with for their recent dominance at their in-state rival. Purdue hasn’t lost at Indiana since 2017.

Changing the Indiana court to the Purdue logo is just cold. Brutal.

Purdue’s margin of victory during this road win streak is 7.6 points, although that number is inflated seriously by wins of 12 points in each of the last two seasons. Purdue’s first three road wins at Assembly Hall at the beginning of the streak were by a combined 14 points.

Beyond the woes in Assembly Hall, the Hoosiers have lost eight straight games to the Boilermakers in the series. Current IU head coach Archie Miller has yet to beat the in-state rival since taking over in 2017.

Trace Jackson-Davis led Indiana with 25 points. Purdue is now 10-5 after the win, Indiana is 8-7 (and 8-2 at home this year).

Which leads to the question: does Indiana now vacate their home record since Purdue is calling Assembly Hall their own?
